E.L.F. Nail Polish Collection – $4.25 for 4 bottles!

I picked this up over the weekend at Target – it’s a $5.00 set that they had marked down to $4.25:

The collection includes four colors: Nude, Coral Dream, Lilac, and Teal Blue. I couldn’t decide which colors to try first (they’re all REALLY cute in person), but I went with Coral Dream on my toes and Nude for my fingers. The Nude is actually very close to my skin color, which is what I wanted. Check your local Target for this set – you’re paying a little over $1 a bottle!

Killer Deal on Elle boots at Kohl’s (Early Summer)

Hi friends. :)

After a LONG hiatus, I’m back to running the blog again. We’ve bought a house, we’ve vacationed, I’ve switched jobs, we’ve been sick, and there’s just been a lot of stuff going on to keep me away from my blog and the Internet. I’m so sorry! I’ll have lots of new posts, pictures, deals, links, and more soon, but I wanted to share a deal I got last May at Kohl’s that just may end up being my “deal of the year”. A pair of women’s Elle boots at Kohl’s was normally priced $99.99, but I found them on clearance for (wait for it) $19.99! That’s a savings of $80 right there, but I was also packing a $10 Kohl’s reward certificate that day, so this gorgeous pair of boots was mine for $9.99. Yes, $9.99.

Here are two pictures of the boots and my receipt. Also, check out the other item on my receipt; I got a Candies make-up set that normally runs $30 for 6 bucks, which put my total savings for the trip at $114. I love Kohl’s. :)

Products I’m Using This Week…Love ‘Em!

It’s been a long day and I’m about to head to bed, so this won’t be a long rambling post (I know how sad that makes you). I just had the idea to list a few of the products I’m using this week (and pretty much every week) with a link to the cheapest place I’ve found them online. (Amazon, naturally.) I’d love to hear about your favorite products (especially if they don’t cost a fortune!), so shoot me an e-mail or leave a comment and we’ll discuss. :)

* Maybelline’s Baby Lips Lip Balm, in my favorite flavor, Peach Kiss. It’s only a couple of dollars, and this leaves my lips smoother than anything else I’ve tried.

* It’s a 10 Miracle Leave In Product. I’ve raved about this product on here before, but I just can’t say it enough: your hair will be glorious (glorious) after applying.

* Vintage Jewelry Crystal Peacock Hair Clip. So peacocks are kind of a big deal in fashion right now, and my ahead-of-the-curve mother got me a clip like this for Christmas. I love it, and c’mon, you can get this for around a dollar on Amazon.

* St. Ives Facial Moisturizer, Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin. If I’m not mistaken (and I’m usually not, wink), this is the skin care product that got a recommendation from Dr. Oz because it has basically the same ingredients as the expensive products. I use it every night, and I love it.

* Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal Cat Eyes in Glam Black. I’m admittedly a little picky about mascara, and I’m loving this one right now. It slides easily through the lashes, and definitely gives them volume. Great product.

* Philosophy’s Amazing Grace Bath, Shampoo, & Shower Gel. This is another product that I’ve mentioned before, because I just can’t say enough good things about it. The scent stays with you forever, and I kind of have a crush on myself when I wear it. It’s that good.

Valentine’s Day Nail Art How-To From Swagbucks: Cupcake Nails!

I can’t tell you how happy this how-to makes me. Seriously, who doesn’t love cupcakes?! (I don’t see any hands.) And this drives home what I’m always saying: fun things like manicures don’t have to cost a lot of money. You can do it yourself. In the video, Nicole tells you exactly how to get this fun look, and lists the tools and colors you’ll need. You have less than a week to perfect it…so get started!
