So AS USUAL I was hanging out at Target this past weekend, and AS USUAL, there are some killer finds on the clearance endcaps. Here are just a few of the gems at my local Target right now (and, oh yeah, I popped on a few):

Products I’m Using This Week…Love ‘Em!
It’s been a long day and I’m about to head to bed, so this won’t be a long rambling post (I know how sad that makes you). I just had the idea to list a few of the products I’m using this week (and pretty much every week) with a link to the cheapest place I’ve found them online. (Amazon, naturally.) I’d love to hear about your favorite products (especially if they don’t cost a fortune!), so shoot me an e-mail or leave a comment and we’ll discuss.
* Maybelline’s Baby Lips Lip Balm, in my favorite flavor, Peach Kiss. It’s only a couple of dollars, and this leaves my lips smoother than anything else I’ve tried.
* It’s a 10 Miracle Leave In Product. I’ve raved about this product on here before, but I just can’t say it enough: your hair will be glorious (glorious) after applying.
* Vintage Jewelry Crystal Peacock Hair Clip. So peacocks are kind of a big deal in fashion right now, and my ahead-of-the-curve mother got me a clip like this for Christmas. I love it, and c’mon, you can get this for around a dollar on Amazon.
* St. Ives Facial Moisturizer, Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin. If I’m not mistaken (and I’m usually not, wink), this is the skin care product that got a recommendation from Dr. Oz because it has basically the same ingredients as the expensive products. I use it every night, and I love it.
* Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal Cat Eyes in Glam Black. I’m admittedly a little picky about mascara, and I’m loving this one right now. It slides easily through the lashes, and definitely gives them volume. Great product.
* Philosophy’s Amazing Grace Bath, Shampoo, & Shower Gel. This is another product that I’ve mentioned before, because I just can’t say enough good things about it. The scent stays with you forever, and I kind of have a crush on myself when I wear it. It’s that good.
Valentine’s Day Nail Art How-To From Swagbucks: Cupcake Nails!
I can’t tell you how happy this how-to makes me. Seriously, who doesn’t love cupcakes?! (I don’t see any hands.) And this drives home what I’m always saying: fun things like manicures don’t have to cost a lot of money. You can do it yourself. In the video, Nicole tells you exactly how to get this fun look, and lists the tools and colors you’ll need. You have less than a week to perfect it…so get started!
Recovering From Surgery…
Quick update: I haven’t forgotten about this blog, and I definitely haven’t lost interest in bargain shopping and chic finds. I had my gallbladder removed two days ago (um, ouch) and have just now felt like getting back online. There will be plenty of updates and posts coming soon, but for now…I..must…rest. Check back soon!
